Terms & Conditions
These terms explain the scope of MAAVIQE’s itinerary-planning services and the responsibilities that remain with the traveler.
1. Services
MAAVIQE provides personalized travel research, destination recommendations, itinerary design, booking-ready information, and related planning support based on information supplied by the traveler. The exact scope depends on the package purchased.
2. MAAVIQE is not making your reservations
Unless MAAVIQE expressly agrees otherwise in writing after confirming any required licensing or registration, MAAVIQE does not sell, issue, or book airline tickets, cruises, hotels, rental cars, tours, transportation, restaurant reservations, or other third-party travel services on the traveler’s behalf. The traveler selects providers, enters into contracts with them, and pays them directly.
3. Third-party providers
Airlines, hotels, restaurants, tour operators, transportation companies, attractions, insurers, and other suppliers are independent third parties. Their prices, schedules, availability, rules, cancellation terms, service levels, and operations are outside MAAVIQE’s control. A recommendation is not a guarantee or endorsement of future performance.
4. Prices and availability
Travel information can change quickly. Quotes, fares, rates, availability, schedules, entry rules, and operating hours included in an itinerary are planning information and may change before the traveler books or travels. Travelers should verify material details directly with the applicable provider before purchasing and again before departure.
5. Traveler responsibilities
The traveler is responsible for reviewing the itinerary for accuracy; making reservations and payments; providing accurate names, dates, ages, dietary needs, mobility needs and other planning information; obtaining passports, visas and other documents; reviewing entry, health and safety requirements; and complying with supplier and government rules. MAAVIQE recommends considering appropriate travel insurance.
6. Planning packages and revisions
Essential includes one consolidated revision round. Signature includes two consolidated revision rounds. Concierge includes reasonable itinerary refinements before travel as described at purchase. A revision round means one consolidated list of changes. A new destination, substantial date change, additional destinations or travelers, or a substantial redesign may require a new planning fee or custom quote.
7. Concierge support
Concierge support is itinerary assistance, research, and planning support. It is not 24/7 emergency response, medical assistance, legal assistance, security service, or a guarantee that a third-party provider can accommodate a requested change. In an emergency, travelers should contact local emergency services and the relevant airline, hotel, insurer, transportation provider, or other supplier directly.
8. Intellectual property and personal use
MAAVIQE itineraries, guides, layouts, written planning materials, and branding are provided for the purchaser’s personal travel use. They may be shared with members of the traveler’s party but may not be resold, republished, or commercially distributed without written permission.
9. Limitation relating to third parties
To the extent permitted by law, MAAVIQE is not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, schedule changes, closures, injuries, losses, service failures, weather events, governmental actions, or other circumstances caused by or arising from third-party providers or events outside MAAVIQE’s reasonable control.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these terms waives rights that cannot legally be waived.
11. Changes
MAAVIQE may update these terms for future purchases. The terms presented when a traveler purchases a planning service govern that purchase unless the parties later agree otherwise in writing.
