Planning Fee & Refund Policy

A clear explanation of what your MAAVIQE planning fee covers, when planning work begins, and how cancellations and revisions are handled.

Effective September 21, 2026. MAAVIQE provides itinerary-planning and travel-research services. Travelers make and pay for reservations directly with third-party travel providers.

Planning fees

The $199 Essential, $399 Signature, and $799 Concierge prices are fees for MAAVIQE’s time, research, itinerary design, and package-specific planning support. They do not include airfare, accommodations, transportation, dining, admissions, tours, experiences, supplier charges, taxes, or other travel costs.

Cancellation and refunds

A traveler may request cancellation by emailing hello@maaviqe.com. Because MAAVIQE begins allocating planning time and research resources after purchase, planning fees become non-refundable once personalized planning or research has begun. If MAAVIQE has not begun personalized work, a refund request may be considered and, if approved, returned to the original payment method.

Unable to perform the service

If MAAVIQE is unable to provide the purchased planning service and no acceptable alternative arrangement is agreed upon, MAAVIQE will refund the portion of the MAAVIQE planning fee applicable to services not provided. This does not cover amounts paid directly to third-party travel providers.

Revisions

Essential includes one consolidated revision round and Signature includes two. Concierge includes reasonable pre-trip itinerary refinements within the original trip scope. Unused revision rounds have no cash value. Major changes—including a new destination, substantial date change, additional travelers or destinations, or a substantial redesign—may require a new fee or custom quote.

Third-party cancellations and refunds

Because travelers book and pay third-party providers directly, each provider’s own cancellation, change, credit, and refund rules apply to those purchases. MAAVIQE cannot issue or guarantee a refund for money paid directly to another company.

Charge disputes

If there is a concern about a MAAVIQE planning charge, please contact hello@maaviqe.com promptly so the issue can be reviewed. Nothing in this policy limits rights provided by applicable law or by the traveler’s payment-card issuer.
